As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years of experience intervening with families, Laverne Fesperman, MSW, LCSW possesses expertise in the area of Infant Mental Health with children who demonstrate behavior difficulties associated with:
- Developmental disabilities, especially Autism
- Abuse and Neglect
- Depression and Anxiety
- Divorce of parents
- Attachment/Adoption issues
- Hyperactivity and other challenging behaviors
- Infant and young Child Mental Health Issues
Infant/Young Child Mental Health services are interventions with young children and their caregivers that provide emotional support, developmental guidance, assessment and parent-child therapies in order to foster nurturing family interactions and healthy child development.
Services:
Laverne's services focuses on promoting healthy, playful, and creative interactions between parents and children. Her services include:
- Child and/or Parent Assessment and Evaluation
- Parent-child interactive therapies (children ages 0-10 years)
- Child-Parent Psychotherapy (children ages 0-5 years)
- Individual child therapy with Play Therapy (children ages 0-10 years)
- Filial Play Therapy
- Parent education and guidance
- Parent Counseling

Hours:
9:00 am - 7:00 pm Mondays and Wednesdays (in office and home appointments
Fees:
Intake: $150.00 per occurrence
Treatment: $100.00 per 50 minute session
