Occupation Therapy (OT) is concerned with a child's ability to participate in desired daily life activities or "occupations". OT's provide services to children who have or are at risk for developmental delays and disabilities
A child may need an OT screening, evaluation and/or ongoing treatment if they are having difficulty with one or more of the following:
- Poor fine motor skills
- Under or over reactive to sensory input
- Poor Attention
- Limited play skills
- Difficulty calming self
- Limited Independence in self care skills
- Exaggerated behaviors or reactions
- Prematurity
- Diagnosis of PDD or Autism
- Neurological Disorders
We specialize in treating:

- Fine Motor Delays
- Motor Planning Delays
- Autism, Aspergers and PDD
- Visual Processing/Visual Perception Delays

Using a variety of assessment and treatment approaches, your therapist develop appropriate home programming and family education in addition to treatment of your child.
Meet our Staff
Cari Fresoli, OTR/L graduated from Florida State University in 1996 with a degree in Business and English. She received her bachelors in occupational therapy from Florida A&M in 1999. Cari has been practicing in Charlotte since graduating. She has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, early intervention, school system and home based therapy. Cari is certified in sensory integration including administration and scoring of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). She is also trained in the use of Therapeutic Listening.
Liane Hamilton, MS, OTR/L attended Eastern Kentucky University and received her masters in occupational therapy from Shenandoah University in 1997. She began her career in Columbus, OH and has been providing pediatric occupational therapy in the Charlotte area since 1999. Liane has experience in private practice, school systems, early intervention, and home based therapy. She has treated a wide variety of diagnoses including sensory processing disorders, autism, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, as well as general fine motor and developmental delays. Liane is certified in sensory integration including administration and scoring of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), and is trained in the use of Therapeutic Listening as well.
