Occupational Therapy (OT) is concerned with a child's ability to participate in desired daily activities, or "occupations". OT's provide services to children who have or are at risk for developmental delays and disabilities

A child may need an OT screening, evaluation, and/or ongoing treatment if they are having difficulty with one or more of the following:

  • Poor fine motor skills
  • Under or over reactive sensory input
  • Poor Attention
  • Limited play skills
  • Difficulty calming self
  • Limited Independence in self care skills
  • Exaggerated behaviors or reactions
  • Prematurity
  • Diagnosis of PDD or Autism
